Why do we worship God? Why do we trust him?

I suppose the reasons are found in the very first words of the Bible.

“In the beginning God…”

Take some time to think on those words.

Before anything else existed, God was.

Everything that exists comes from him.

In his wisdom he created all things.

By his power all things were created.

His mind is more vast than we can comprehend.

His power…limitless.

That’s is the God we worship.

And amazingly, that is the God who loves us.

So let us sing with all his angels,

Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God, the Almighty,
who was, who is, and who is to come…

Our Lord and God,
you are worthy to receive
glory and honor and power,
because you have created all things,
and by your will
they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:8, 11)
